Hey. Viv here. Got a book coming out today and want to share a secret about how books get made. Or at least how this one did.
Hint: It wasn't all about me. Not even close.
In fact, so many eyeballs have been on the manuscript,
it could be a zombie buffet. I mean, of course my agent and editor and copy
editor and final white-glove treatment editor all saved Wanted and Wired from being a sloppy mess, but even before that (and during it), people were helping: reading, critiquing, suggesting, fact-checking, encouraging.
Today is about all those eyeballs, and the people behind them. They are awesome people and even
awesomer writers. (And believe-you-me, they’d be only too happy to point out
that “awesomer” isn’t really a word.) I owe them so much.
You should buy their latest releases (pick and choose; there’s something for everyone in this list, but all of these authors are amazeballs).

More amazing folks will have books come out soon, and I’ll pimp the hell out of them, too. Because you know what’s magical about romancelandia? Women, boosting each other. I have never believed less in zero sum and more in the magic of love.
ps--My brain is super mushy, and this book took a heckuva long time to write and fix and prep. If you've laid eyes on this story, like in crit group or something (Regina? Claire? Did I ever make you guys read pages on this one?), and you have a book out, and I didn't mention it here, please email me. Because whether you realize it or now, you have helped SO MUCH.
Vivien Jackson writes stories with robots, grenades, pixies, and always, always down-home salacious kissery. She's an unrepentant fangirl of many fandoms and would love to discuss your favorite ships here or here or here. |

So happy for you. Glad to have been there from the first day when this story popped into your imagination.
Congrats and here's to a long, successful and incredible book release career.
Hugs.
PS Thanks for pimping Traian.
