I for one will be enjoying these last days of summer 2010. Having as much fun as I can. Still have plans to go to various movies, take some long walks and spend as much time as I can in the sun. Feel the shine on my face and the breeze on my skin. I think my love of summer comes from me being born during the summer.
Summer is the time when family and friends get together to fun and frolic. This time towards the last days of summer people are getting together for the last days of summer vacations. Plans are fun and the execution of them enjoyable before the fall is upon us. Then with fall we start thinking of what we want to do next summer. But for now we are in those last glorious days of summer.
Ahhh… those last days of summer… What are your plans?

Yesterday saw the final trip to the pool until next season. There are few things sexier than watching beautiful male bodies clad only in board shorts ... helping their toddlers swim in the kiddie pool.
I'm going to miss the lazy days on the deck writing and drinking wine as the sun goes down.
I plan to enjoy the warmth and all the wild critters around me for as long as possible.
We didn't have much of a summer in the Pac NW--way too many gray, ugly days. Today the high was 59 degrees. Grr. So what do I plan to do to enjoy the rest of the summer that never was? Dig out my sweatshirts and sweaters. :)
Rebecca, oh, I feel for you. We had long weeks of gray ugly days in the midwest this year, especially this past Spring... far more than usual. It's just been within the last month that we've had a succession of lovely blue-sky days.
I so wish winter wasn't on the horizon.
