What's sexier and more flirtatious than sharing a decadent dessert with your lover? Okay, I can think of a few things, but this is definitely high on the list.
I've been making this cheesecake for years. I have no idea where I originally got the recipe so I can't attribute it to anything but my old recipe file.
WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE with RASPBERRY SAUCE
2 lbs cream cheese
1 c sugar
4 eggs, beaten
8 oz white chocolate (melted)
1 tbsp vanilla
Beat the first two ingredients until creamy. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased/sprayed springform pan. Set pan into a shallow water bath (broiler pan). This will prevent cracking. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes until edges are set.
Raspberry Sauce
1 small pkg frozen raspberries
3/4 c sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
dash of salt
1 tsp lemon juice
Heat 1 c water to boiling. Add berries and stir until it it liquid enough to strain. Strain and return mixture to pan and heat to boiling again. Add remaining ingredients and stir until thick. Then add lemon juice.
To serve, drizzle 1 tbsp sauce over a slice of cheesecake. Feed it to your lover, then enjoy what happens next.

Wow, that looks like something I'm going to have before the day is done.
Thanks for waking up my taste buds with a great treat!

Death by cheesecake...but what a way to go!
I had a decadent piece of pure white cheesecake recently and loved it. Cheesecake is one of those desserts that isn't oversweet, is creamy in texture, and has a mild flavor. It can be spiced up with fruit or fruit sauce but I prefer it plain. I savored every single bite. Yum!
If I wasn't trying to lose 10 lbs by Nationals, I'd be making cheesecake this weekend...
Extra yum! I'm going to have to try that.
Have fun at Nationals.
