How to Steal the Pharaoh’s Jewels Contest

After much hemming and hawing, I’ve chosen to do a contest for the entire month of May. The prizes? Three beautiful Egyptian style pieces of jewelry. See below.

To enter, you must answer five questions on the contest entry form. Each correct answer receives 1 point. The entrant with the highest number of points will win. If there are more than one entrant with the most points, a winner will be randomly chosen.

Everyone should get question number one correct. Read the book blurb online if you need help. The answer to another is found in the first chapter. The prizes include:

1st Prize

A necklace made from tiny round carnelian, lapis lazuli, and turquoise beads. The focal is a lapis lazuli stone from Afghanistan. The findings are all 14K gold over sterling silver, also known as vermeil. This necklace was handmade by my alter ego. This is my interpretation of the Kheper scarab necklace found on Tutankhamen’s mummy.

2nd Prize:

A necklace made with a raw brass distressed and finished Pharaoh pendant, distressed Egyptian-style charms and gold-plated findings, with ceramic and red agate beads.

3rd Prize
A pair of earrings made from vintage brass Egyptian inspired pendants with niobium ear wires.
