Take Romance on Vacation

After being pestered by the kids for weeks, we're finally heading on vacation. I have 3 sons and if you add in dearest hubby, that equals 4 kids. I  have a romance novel picked out and of course I will pack my kindle. I usually have an opportunity to read when they are off doing "guy stuff" which usually ends up with an ice pack or a stint in a Jacuzzi. My boys, ages 12-20, are pretty easy going but when hubby and I have a romantic moment, they say "Ewe!" and promptly leave us alone. However, sometimes it takes a little effort to have a bit of romance while on vacation with the 3-ring circus of my family.

Here are a few ideas:
* Hold hands while strolling down a beach, meandering through an outdoor market, or checking out local shops.
* Try new drinks and foods together.
* Bring out the children in you. Visit a park, eat ice cream, go barefoot.
*If you have a room to yourself, take something special to wear at night.

Happy 4th of July!!!

How do you take little romance on vacation?
