The nightstand of an erotic romance author must have thrilling assortment of goodies, right? Maybe not. Here are thirteen things I have in my nightstand right now.
1. Fat calipers
2. Measuring tape (goes along with the fat calipers. Get your mind out of the gutter. I don’t measure THAT)
3. A photo from our trip to Puerto Vallarta seven years ago that I thought made me look fat, so I hid it. Looking at it again, I was right.
4. Massage oil
5. A few pens
6. Bubble wrap
7. Swiss army knife
8. A remote control for a TV we no longer have
9. A stack of old baseball cards
10. Cassette tape on anti-procrastination
11. Business cards from when I worked at the YMCA six years ago
12. Flashlight
13. Lightbulb

We only have one nightstand and it's on hubby's side and I never use it. I'm too scared to look inside! I however,on my side of the bed, I have a cute little table covered with colorful scarves with a Bohemian feel. Under the table is a cute little covered basket with delightful, sensual items hidden inside. The contents might make an nice TT. LOL. Happy TT!
What's in my nightstand? Eep!
Well, let's see:
my leather gloves (so the kitty won't eat them), a bar of vanilla soap (to scent the drawer - it used to smell strange),
US coins,
ear plugs (so I can sleep),
tissues,
and various other run-of-the-mill items.
The rest I can't tell you about. ;-)

Omy... I don't have a nightstand... however, I have my supplements and lots of books... plus, that pad of paper and pen to write down story ideas and phrases. And a whole lot of stuff I need to go through.
Mine is more like a junk drawer, obviously. My husband read my TT list and says, "Wow. You'd never know you were an erotic author." LOL
I should have said, an "erotica" author. Ha ha.
I'm with you, Becca. I have a junk drawer in my nightstand: a bag of assorted IGo adapters (man, I love that thing!), a bag of memory sticks, lip balm, a couple of batteries for...er...toys (hee hee), paper clips, pens, mini-Sharpies in assorted colors and a couple of combination locks - how'd they get in there?
